DOG TRIALS
CAPE RUNAWAY M-BETl^fe OUTSTANDING SUCCESS The Cape Runaway Dog Trials wh’icli commenced at Waihau Bay on Thursday, 7tli. hist. were concluded on Monday last. Beautiful weather favoured the first two days of the trials but heavy rain, hindered the completion of the events. In spite of. the inclemency of the weather the trials were an outstanding success, the dance held in the Raukokore Hall on Saturday night crowning the annual event. Mr O. T. Clark,, was the judge in the huntaway events and Mr W. G. Butler judged the head events. Following are the results:— Zig Zag Huntaway. M. Eruera’s Shag 37} points 1 B.
