MEAT BOARD - COMMITTEE GISBORNE UNION’S VIEWS “Seeing those members have given satisfaction, I do not see why >ve should oppose-them”’ said Mr- J. E. Benson, of the Poverty Bay provincial executive of the Farmers’ Union,"'when commenting at the monthly meeting of the, union upon-* the coining election of district delegates to the committee of the Meat Board. Other members also expressed, the opinion, that the district had been well represented by Mr S. D- Reeves, Tolaga Bay, and Mr T. Le C. Powdroll, Wairoa, and it was deckled not to nominate anybody in opposition! It was resolved to advise the Poverty' Bay and East Coast Sheepowners Union of the attitude of the meeting.
