PLANE KIDNAP FOILED

CHILDREN It ESC FED NASSAU- March 1-3- —Foiled in an attempt to kidnap two children from a park at Nassau, capital of Bahamas, two men tried yesterday to escape in a. seaplane. The plane lay in the harbour, with its engines running. A harbour pilot, Air Christopher Brown, realising that the men were trying to make a quick getaway, sped to the seaplane in his motor-boat, and moored the boat to one of the floats. His action made it impossible! for the plane to rise. Three men .were taken ashore and questioned by| the police. The children were rescued from the men in the park by their nurse and some people who had been watching a yacht race. They were staying at Nassau with their mother, a divorced American woman, and her second liushund.
