TO THE EDITOR
OPOTIKi ROADS Dear Sir. —Alay 1. be permitted space in your paper to comment on the state" of some of the Opotiki reads . One glaring example is to lie found in AVellington Street, near Connelly’s corner, which resembled nothing so much as a pig-sty. The road and pavements are literally covered with mud, made worse, no doubt, by numerous cattle being driven, over it. The postal box Ims lately been sbilted from Connelly’s corner to Rawson’s corner, and to reach this one has to wade through thick mud.
If the' City Fathers would try +•" walk along this road, 1 think they would agree with me that it is high time something was done to this road at least. MUD.
