AVood was elected chairman. •\ V J, ■; ,v ' # ■ It was decided to admit children to matches free of charge. The committee decided to forward a letter of thanks to Air F. -J. Rennett expressing thanks for the use of the showgrounds during the past- season. - ' \>i'r Four teams: High School, Clity, Woodlands and 0.M.P., will take part in the third grade competit-ioh.

The secretary was instructed to write to the Borough Council asking that the reserve be prepared for the opening matches next Saturday.

Alessrs AVood, Short and Hickey % were appointed as a deputation to wait on the Domain Board in connection with the proposed control of the Reserve by various sports bodies.

It was decided to write to the Whakatane Union advising that it would be impossible to send a* team to Yvbakatane as requested on the King’s Birthday, hut pointing out that a match could be. arranged in Opotiki.
