MEET AT WOODLANDS

THIRD GRADE TEAM FORMED There, was a large aiid enthusiastic attendance at the meeting held in Woodlands Hall on. Alonday evening to consider the formation of a third grade football team. Air W. H. Pilkington senr. presided and Mr LG A. O. Davies addressed the meeting, outlining the purpose for which if had been convened. It was unanimously decided by those -present that a club should be formed and be known as the Woodlands Football Oliib. -The subscription was fixed at 'ss and the colours chosen for the club were green jersey, black shorts, and green-top- . ped socks. Mr -O. 'Shove generously donated a football to the club.

The following officers were elected: —Patron, Air AY. Beattie. President, Air L. ;A. O. Davies.. Secretary-treas-urer, Allr AA T . H. Pilkington junr. Committee, Alessrs C. Shove, AA r . H. Pilkington senr., J. Burns, L. Lingman, F. Storer. Alana-ger, Air C. Shove. Coach, Air L. Davies. Selectors, Alessrs Davies and Shove.

The enthusiasm shown by the intending players wa» most encouraging. The- first practice will be held in the Woodlands Hall at 7.30 p.m. to-night and all those intending to join the club are invited to attend. A vote of thanks to the chair, proposed by Air K. de Mbntalk, ended a most successful meeting.
