The outstanding event of the session was a visit, by the Gisborne Savage Club on our first evening, the visitors providing the whole programme. Our own, members gave of their best towards our programmes, and each year the club is instrumental in discovering hidden talent. Ladies’ evening closed the session and was again highly successful. On ladies’ evening we were honoured by a visit from Colonel A. E. Loach, of Christchurch, the general secretary of the (Association of Orphans’- arid Savage Clubs. Orchestra : Although the orchestra Avas smaller in number than usual, it lacked nothing in enthusiasm and was always ready to fill in gaps in the programme. Under the able leadership of Bro.
