GOVERNMENT SCHEME : ''-' L : v . . • - V ■ The shortage of houses which has been experienced i;i Opotiki for some considerable time will be relieved to some extent by .the Gcvrnment’s' announcement of its intention to build six houses in Opotiki. The following telegram on the subject has been received by Mr A. G. Hultquist, 31. P. “Pleased to inform you Cabinet lias approved purchase of land at Opotiki comprising 14 acres property of Mr Janies 3lain. This will be sufficient to accommodate six houses and as soon as formality completed, Department anticipates being able commence first instalment Government scheme, Opotiki.”
