WOODLUPINE TRAGEDY.
TRACKING A SUSPECT.

Perth, May 20.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of David Smithson in connection with the Woodlupine murder. He was formerly a tram conductor, and has been missing from his lodgings since the night of the tragedy.
Last night a man resembling accused caled at the Bayswater railway station, iour miles from Woodlupine, and asked for a ticket to Perth. When told that
the train was not due for some hours, he became excited, ran across the line, and jumped into a train" proceeding in the opposite direction.
His dishevelled appearance startled a lady passenger, who screamed. The guard stopped the train, and the man sprang out and disappeared in the scrub. Black trackers are following him.
