FITZWILLIAM STAKES AT

DONCASTER

London, May 19,

His Majesty King George V. scored his first victory on the turf at Doncaster to-day, when his chestnut colt Pintadean, 2yrs, by Florizel 11. —Guinea Hen, won the Fitzwilliam Stakes, with Svetic and Eiderduck second and third.

The Fitzwilliam Stakes, which is a race for two-year-olds, is not a very important event, btit it will now become historical by reason of its being the first event to be won by the present King.
