Special to the Dally Times CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 10. F D Jones nominated four of his team for'the Auckland meeting and his present Intention is to take all of them when he leaves next week. They are FaVm Bearei, Banshee and the two-year-olds Magical and Musselman, none of whom realised expectations at the New Zealand Cup meeting. J C Tomklnson will leave next week, for Auckland with the four-year-old Revolte and on his latest form he looks a good prospect. F A. Roberts will have Blue Trout and the three-year-old Kartikeya racing at th*> Auckland meeting. Blue ; Trout is In good order for the Railway Handicap. Kartikeya injured one of' his feet in the Canterbury Cup, but it is not serious. The intention, however, Is to race him only once on the trip—in the Great Northern Derby. Miss Medley continues to show slight signs of soreness and though she is no worse than she has been many times, T. H Gillettt has cancelled her trip to Auckland. She will be kept going in quiet work and she may make her next appearance in the Midsummer Handicap in February, with the Dunedin Centennial Cup to follow. Cipher broke down while taking part in the Members’ Handicap. The trouble is in a ligiment and a long rest will be necessary. , _ Loma Leigh was left here when J. A. Wilson returned home to Wingatui after the New Zealand Cup meeting and she is now having a rest. Though E. W. Rosewarne nominated the two-year-old Golden Amber for the Auckland meeting, she will not go north. She is having a short spell, preparatory to a trip to Trenthum next month.
