STRAND THEATRE

A man’s all-consuming hatred that drives him to plan a diabolical crime of revenge against a group of former associates who ruined his life, comprises the theme of the new mystery film, “Fog Island,” opening at the Strand Theatre to-morrow. Co-starring George Zucco, Lionel Atwill and Jerome Cowan, the story has for its novel locale a fog-bound island, its only inhabitants being a brooding exconvict and his pretty step-daughter who reside in an ancient castle, formerly a pirate stronghold. The supporting film is a riotous comedy; “ G.I. Honeymoon,” with Gale Storm in the title role, and featuring Peter Cookson, Arline Judge, Frank Jenks and Jerome C6wan.
