ST. JAMES THEATRE
The latest ol the popular Dr Gillespie series, ” Dark Delusion,” starring Lionel Barrymore, with James Craig and Lucille Bremer, will be shown to-morrow at the St. James Theatre. As the gruff but lovable Dr Leonard Gillespie, Lionel Barrymore delivers his usual polished performance. James Craig makes his first appearance in the series as the blunt, aggressive Dr Tommy Coalt whose highhanded tactics almost bring about his dismissal from the hospital. Another newcomer to the series is beautiful Lucille Bremer, who is seen as a lovely young heiress believed insane by her family physician. Her case is defended by the impulsive Dr Coalt, who refuses to believe that she is unbalanced. The suspenseful plot is enlivened by many exciting incidents and a generous quantity ol humour.
