WINGATUI TRACK WORK
KOSHER GALLOPS WELL Conditions were very pleasant at Wingatui yesterday morning when a number of horses were worked. The course proper in the vicinity of the seven-furlong barrier was closed, as improvements are being carried out there, and the gallops were of six furlongs or less. The going was fast. Dileas was paired with Royal Robe over five furlongs in lmin Bsec. Dileas made the better showing. Kosher worked attractively to lead All Hurry home over four furlongs in 51 4-ssec. It was the best gallop of the morning. Victory Star was more impressive than Manatorie over five furlongs in lmin 7sec. Royal Saint easily held Pestee in a half-mile spin in 54 2-ssec. On the sand, Triumphal galloped five furlongs in lmin 7sec. Among other horses on the track were Red Pickle, Fine Night, Detain and Lovemorn. but none of them were stretched out.
