CANADIAN ARMY UNITS PRINCESS ELIZABETH ACCEPTS APPOINTMENTS Rec. 9 P-m. OTTAWA, Dec. 6. Princess Elizabeth has accepted an honorary appointment of Colonel-in-Chief of the 48th Highlanders of Toronto, and le Regiment de la Chaudiere, of Quebec, thus becoming Colonel-in-Chief of Canadian army.units for the first time. The King ana Queen have accepted similar appointments in three other 'Canadian regiments.
