MOSGIEL
iNTERSCHOOL CONTEST Toko and Mosgiel District High Schools held a one-dav tournament at Mosgio! last week in cricket, tennis and shooting. Mosgiel won the cricket by an innings and five runs. K. Doig batted well ana R Young and D. Pearce were the most successful bowlers. In the tennis matches Mosgiel won eight of the 12, but very close contests were witnessed, especially in the junior games. Toko won the shooting with a score of 395, to Mosgiel’s 346.
VISIT TO LINCOLN A party of 20 boys from the Mosgiel District High School paid a visit to Lincoln Agricultural College last week. The boys, who are taking an agricultural course at Mosgiel, travelled to Lincoln last Monday and 'returned on Friday. The trip made a deep impression on those who composed the party. Before leaving, the boys expressed their thanks to the director and staff of the college, and to Mr McCaskill, rural education officer, who made the project possible
