DANCE HALL LARRIKINISM
Sir,—l often wonder why magistrates are so lenient to these people who go to dance halls and create disturbances outside or inside these halls. A proprietor of a dance can take every precaution to maintain order inside the hall, and yet when he ejects any patrons they usually retaliate by damage to private property or use obscene language outside. Killjoys then blame the dance for this trouble and they would be the first to send people about their business if there was any interference with their friends at anv function they were interested. in once' they got outside the premises. Patriotic functions held during the war let these lairikins get away with a lot, and now is the time to show them it has to come to a finish.—l am, etc., Dancer.
