PROSPECT FOR AVONDALE Special to the Dally Times AUCKLAND, Dec. 5. There has been rain to-day, and the outlook for the second day of the Avondale Jockey Club’s second spring meeting to-morrow is doubtful. So far it has not been wet enough to affect the .going greatly, but the forecast for to-morrow is showery. The chance of ■ good going, therefore, appears remote. Horses likely to be in demand include:— 10.50: Titirangi Handicap.—First division: Double Chance, Silk Thread, Faithful Knight. Second division: Prince Chat, Bouquet, Diplomat. 11.35: Three Kings Hurdles.—Kentish, British -Mint, Merriful. 12.20: Rosebank Handicap. First division: Quick March, Distributor, Beb. Second division: Ruling Prince, Gildchase, Norman Knight. 1.10: Foley Memorial Handicap.—Precedency, Lord Barwon, Balmacara. 1.55: Avondale Challenge Stakes.— Majesty, Sleepy Fox, Shirley Fox. 2.40: Sapling Handicap.—First division: High Power, Maricrana, Akbar. >. Second division: Jolly Lass. Tranquil Lady Rizzio. 3.25: Mount Eden Handicap.—Pelias, Flowerburn, Morocco. 4.15: Mount Roskill Handicap.—Aylesbury, Kuku Nui, Tamaiti Kino. Scratchings are: Foley Memorial. Valley Boy 1.7 p.m. to-day. Three Kings Hurdles: Bright Fox 5.15 p.m. yesterday.
