REFUSAL TO LOAD MEAT
FREEZING HANDS DISMISSED P.A. AUCKLAND, Dec. 5. Forty-four chamber hands employed at R. and W. Hellaby's freezing works at Otahuhu have been dismissed. It is stated that the reason for the dismissal was their refusal to load for export bobby calves which had not been boned. A stop-work meeting ol other chamber hands and butchers was ■> held this morning, but was adjourned until Monday.
