SWIMMING
Miss Ngaire Nuttall, who is a particularly strong and fast swimmer, will represent the Oamaru Swimming Club at the Otago swimming championships next week. She will swim in the 50 Yards Junior Girls’ Freestyle Championship and the 50 Yards Junior Girls’ Backstroke Championship. A panel of coaches has been arranged for the club’s coaching scheme, and members will be instructed in breaststroke, backstroke, and the crawl, as well as in diving.
