Jottings Acceptances for the Tapanui meeting are due on Monday. Unless the sting is out of the track Deep Harmony is unlikely to- start at Riccarton to-morrow. The Stormovik appeals as one who is likely to win a stake at one of the holiday meetings. Hurdles Favourite First day’s form points to Voltaire as the hardest horse to beat in the Port Cooper Hurdles to-morrow. Nicely Placed Excellency looks nicely placed in the Members' Handicap with 8.0. She is brilliant over the distance. Wingatui Galloper Detain’s form in the Jockey Club Handicap was not impressive and he would need to show improvement to have a chance in the Fendalton Handicap tomorrow. Assured of Support Frances will carry a lot of southern support in the Members’ Handicap at Riccarton to-morrow. In the Pearce Handicap, on Labour Day she went a fine race to finish third to Lord Dundonald and Indian Dawn.
