Starring Peggy Cummins, Victor Mature and Ethel Barrymore, a sensational murder thriller, “ Moss Rose,” will be released at the State Theatre to-morrow. The story revolves about Peggy Cummins, who plays a cockney chorus girl who has her heart set on some day crashing the ” upper crust ” of society; and Victor Mature, who portrays a young and moody nobleman. When after a visit from Mature, Peggy’s girl friend is found murdered. ..Peggy blackmails Vic., and Scotland Yard then comes into the picture. A truly unusual plot is revealed when an exciting climax is reached.
