GINGER ALE CHRISTMAS CAKE
lib butter. Jib sugar. 31b flour. 4 eggs. I teasp. baking powder. 21b fruit (sultanas and currants) )'. Soak fruit overnight in 2 of a small bottle of ginger ale. Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs one by one, add flour and powder gradually, lastly the soaked fruit. Bake 3 hours, in medium oven.
