Stevenson—McDouall

Pink' and white flowers decorated St. John’s Church, Roslyn, on Saturday, November 22, for the marriage of Patricia Ellen, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs G. W. McDouall, Littlebourne, to Squadron Leader Stuart Stevenson, D.F.C., third son of Mrs Stevenson and the late Mr W. F. Stevenson, of Stanley Point, Auckland. The ceremony was conducted by Dean Button, assisted by the Rev. L. D. C. Groves. ■* The bride wore a lovely frock of embossed faille cut on classical lines with fitting bodice and full skirt, which fell from a scalloped waist line. Held in place by a spray of cream rosebuds was a line old. tulle veil. She carried a bouquet of cream roses and Lily of the Valley The bride was attended by Mrs lan McLennan, Alison McDouall, and Joan Hammond, who wore charming frocks of shell pink marquisette over satin with full gathered skirts and softly fitting bodices. Circlets of pink carnations and rosebuds were worn on their heads and they carried trailing bouquets of the same flowers. The best man was Mr lan Neale, and the groomsmen were Mr Hugh Armour and Flight Lieutenant Trevor Gallagher. The reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents, Tweed street, Littlebourne.
