GREATER PARLIAMENTARY REPRESENTATION CONCERTED MOVE PLANNED Special Correspondent WELLINGTON, Nov. 27. Dissatisfied with the method ,of selection of Labour Party candidates for parliamentary elections, the National Council of the New Zealand Federation of Labour has decided to seek greater parliamentary representation for the industrial Labour movement, The council, at its meeting in Wellington this week, decided to sponsor a concerted move throughout the trade union movement to demand ballots among all affiliations and branches of the Labour Party for the selection of party candidates. The trade union movement will be asked to support in such ballots candidates with an industrial background and known working-class sympathies.
