AUCKLAND CUP ENTRANT FROM AUSTRALIA
SYDNEY, Nov. 26
Silver Link will leave Sydney on Monday for New Zealand to run in the Auckland Cup. He will thus miss the Summer Cup, for which he was an early favourite. If he does not travel well he will be held over and will contest minor distance events. He will be trained in New Zealand by E. Ellis. His .best performances are second to Rainbird in the 1945 Melbourne Cup and a dead heat with Russia in this year’s Colin Stephen Stakes
