UNOFFICIAL BREAST STROKE RECORD
P.A. AUCKLAND, Nov. 27. An unofficial record for 220 yards breaststroke was made by the national champion, J. Shanahan, at a swimming carnival last night. In the 220 Yards Open Handicap he was timed unofficially at 2min 55 3-ssec, which bettered his New Zealand record by 3sec.
