HUTT PARK MEETING Special to the Daily Times WELLINGTON, Nov. 27. The weather is still favourable in the Wellington district, and there is every prospect of a fast track for the final day of the Wellington Trotting Club’s meeting at Hutt Park on Saturday. The presence of a number of fresh horses will give added interest to the racing, and may lead to some surprises. Betting will be win-and-place, and favourites may include: — 11.0: Eastbourne Handicap.—Laureate, Euncrana, Big Guy. 11.45: Discovery Handicap.—First division: Grey Streak, Chief Counsel. Second division: Curiosity, Indemnity. 12.30: Randwick Handicap.—Goldina, Wedding King, Captain Sandy. 1.20: Wellington Handicap.—Communique, Desert Lad, Lone Raider. 2.10: Palmer Memorial.—Great VentureQuite Right bracket, Excallbur. 3.0: Taita Handicap.—Sure Rey, Craft, 3.50: Belmont Handicap.—Vera Lynn, Pinto, King’s Messenger. 4.40: Spring Handicap.—Logan Rey, Certainty, Baby Grand.
