Speculation as to whether the King of Egypt would send a present to the Princess has been ended. King Farouk has sent the oldest present among the 1500 so far received. It is a gold necklace of the reign of Ptolemy Philidelphus, and was worn by his Queen Arsinoe in 250 B.C,
