Invitation Extended To Visit Dominion
LONDON, Nov. 20. When Mr Jordan, during the wedding breakfast at Buckingham Palace conveyed. the good wishes of the Prime Minister, the Government, and the people of New Zealand to the Princess and her husband, and suggested that later they might visit the Dominion, the Princess said warmly: “ We should like that very much.” The High Commissioner also took the opportunity of expressing Mr Fraser’s personal good wishes to the King and Queen, who both asked Mr Jordan to convey their thanks to the Prime Minister, During the breakfast, the High Commissioner met King Peter and Queen Alexandra of Yugoslavia, and in the course of the conversation, the Queen, who before her marriage was a Greek princess, recalled very warmly the help given to her. native country during the war by the soldiers of New Zealand.
