PROMPT OFFER OF ASSISTANCE
P.A. WELLINGTON, Nov. 19. A telegram extending sympathy and offering aid in the lire disaster has been sent on behalf of the Dominion Executive in Wellington of the New Zealand Red Cross Society by the director-general, Mr M. S. Galloway, to the Christchurch centre of the society. The telegram reads: “On behalf of the Dominion Executive I extend sympathy to the sufferers in the tragic fire disaster.
