NORTH CANTERBURY FREEZING
The accounts of the North Canterbury Sheep Farmers’ Co-operative Freezing Export and Agency Company, Ltd., for the year ended September 30, 1947, show a net profit of £11,031, against £7846 the previous year. With a carry-over of £11,213 from the previous year, the amount . available for distribution is £22,264, which the directors recommend bo dealt with as follows:—Payment of 5J per cent, dividends (unchanged) on preference and ordinary shares, £3576; transfer to reserve account, £10,000; carry forward, £8687.-
