Net earnings of the Tul Brewery Company, Ltd., Mangatainoka, Pahiatua, were £11,916 for the year ended August 31, a decrease of £lO6. The result is reached after providing £1731 for depreciation (against £1808), and £15,150 for taxes (against £17,100). Dividend is again 10 per cent, (final 01 per cent.), absorbing £9757, ana the remaining balance of profit, £2159, will increase the carry-forward to £9139. In 1946 a victory bonus of 11 per cent, was added to the dividend. Gross profit in the past year was £3732 lower at £34,570, and interest and rents yielded £Bl less at £1946.
