Meeting of Association
Mr W. M. Uttley was in the chair at the fortnightly meeting of the North Otago Cricket Association on Monday "’ifwas decided to nominate N Burrows, Buckenham and Simpson for the Brabm Shield games at Wellington. It was also decided to enter for the Country Week,. organised by the Otago Cricket Association in March, and the secretary was asked to arrange for accommodation. Permission was granted the Waitaki Boys’ High School to play the King s High School at Dunedin on December 1. A lengthv discussion took place on the finances of the association and it was decided that an effort be made to improve the position. The hope wa s expressed that cricketers and those interested would respond readily and generously to any appeal that was made. The following players have been selected to practise for the representative -match against Southland on December 12 and 13 at InvercargillA. Forbes, J Spear. R. McLaren. S. Sutherland. D. Hall. A Currie. D. Tiddy, S. Dick. H. Ross, J Watson, B. Dick. J. Hall, M. Dick. M. Gunn J Bee, K. Doig. Burrows. Simpson. P. Harris. Buckenham. Draw for Saturday Senior.—Oamaru B v. Albion.
