BAND VISITS MENTAL HOSPITAL

The Band of the Ist Battalion. Otago Regiment, under the direction of Captain L O. Asten, visited the Orokonui Home and Seacliff on Sunday and entertained the patients with band muisc. The numbers played included the march “ El Capitan,” overture “ Les Cloches de Corneville,” valse " Brune,” and air from “ Rinaldo.” At the Orokonui Home Dr Bennett thanked the band on behalf of the staff and patients, and at Seacliff Dr Moore voiced appreciation of the concert. The arrangements were in the hands of the Patients and Prisoners’ Aid Society.
