• Mr P. W. Hargreaves was in the chair at a meeting of the North Otago Horticultural Society. Preliminary arrangements were made for the society's December show. Mr A. H. Nordmeyer wrote stating that he hoped the Drill Hall would be cleared of wool In time for the show. The following stewards were appointed;—Mrs J. Herron, decorative; Messrs T. Boulton and J. Campbell, cut flowers; Mr G. S. Jones, vegetables
