RACING PIGEONS
The Oamaru Pigeon Club flew another excellent race, this time from Blenheim, the winning bird covering the distance in 6hr 12sec. The long distance sorted out the birds, but they all arrived home at various stages. Results:—Lundberg and Davies’ Golden Boy, 1255yds per minutes, 1; D. Mcßride’s Fleet Master, 1247yds per minute. 2; M. Hay’s Dark Joan, 1091yds per minute, 3.
