Mills Shield Competition
In the second round of the Mills Shield competition on Saturday, Phoenix won one game against Pukeuri, scoring 10 competition points; four against Hampden, scoring 20 points; and one against Maheno, scoring 20 points; a total of 50 points. Pukeuri won one game against PhGenix, scoring 10 points; and Weston won two games against Phoenix, scoring 20 points Meadowbank won five games against Awamoa. scoring 11 1-9 points, and Awamoa won four games against Meadowbank, scoring 8 8-9 points. The positions of the clubs at the end of' this round are as follows:—Awamoa 78 8-9, Phoenix 63 1-3, Meadowbank 17 7-9, Weston 20, Pukeuri 10, Hampden 10.
