FEILDING MEETING
BATTLE SURVEY IN FORM Special to the Daily Times. WELLINGTON, Nov. 14. The weather has been fine and the going will be firm and fast for the opening day of the Feilding Jockey Club’s Spring meeting to-morrow. Provision has been made to run the Aorangi Trial in two divisions but there have been sufficient scratchings to avoid this in the Fitzroy handicap. Betting will be win-and-place and the following horses will be well supported:— 11.15: Waituna Hurdles.—Leigh Hark, Incident, Walk Off. 12.0: Aorangi Trial.—First division: Mangatiti, Skywriter. Second division: Gratuity, Gay Stitches. 12.47: Manchester Handicap.—Gay Stroller, Merry Robin, Langue d’Or. 1.35: Feilding Juvenile Handicap.—Sonia, Swan Lake, Pitoitoi. 2.23: Flying Handicap.—Battle Survey, Voltaic, Specialist. 3.11: Kowhai Handicap.—Master Fox, Commercial, Fairhome. 3.59: Fitzroy Handicap.—The Pagan, Tenor Royal, Brantford. 4:47: Kiwitea Handicap.—Wild Note, Bronstar, Mercian Lad.
