NELSON TOBACCO WORKERS INCREASED PRODUCTION PLEDGED P.A. WELLINGTON, Nov. 14. A pledge of support for the Aid for Britain campaign in terms of greater effort and more overtime has been given by the workers of the Nelson Tobacco Manufacturing Company. The Aid for Britain National Council, in a statement to-day, said that 32 workers have signed a written pledge and the management, in turn, has given an assurance to the council that the overtime the staff has promised to work will be provided. The staffs’ pledge states: "We join with the executive of our company in pledging that we will do our best to increase the production of tobacco and we will do out best to attend at every overtime period possible and generally we will do everything in our power to increase production in our factory in an all-out effort to assist Britain
