STRAND THEATRE

Judy Canova, hilly-billy artist, is the principal comedienne in " Singin In the Corn,” the main attraction in to-mor-row’s change of programme at the Strand Theatre. Other prominent roles are filled by Allan Jenkins, junior, ‘ Big Boy Williams, and the Singing Indian Braves. The fun starts when Judy tries to give a desert ghost town back to the Indians so that she may inherit 250,000 dollars under the terms of an extremely unorthodox will. The Indians are afraid to accept the town because they are sure it is haunted. It is “ haunted ” by a group of gamblers who want to keep the town for themselves and make it another Reno. The supporting picture, “ Fear,” adds variety to the programme.
