ST. JAMES THEATRE
Hilarious comedy is supplied by to-mor-row’s new release at the St. Theatre, " The Cockeyed Miracle, with Frank Morgan, Keenan Wynn, Cecil Kellaway and Audrey Totter heading a rollicking cast. Based on the provocative theory that a man is privileged to settle the affairs of his family before wending his way heavenward, the story casts Morgan as the late Sam Griggs who has died without being certain that his widow will be properly taken care of. This means that his daughter, Jennifer, will not be able to marry her boy friend Howard, and also that his son, Jimmy will be unable to pursue his ambition to become a shipbuilder. The humorous situations of this unusual' story are replete with delightful dialogue and unexpected action and a skilful cast takes full advantage of every comedy opportunity.
