RETURNED SOLDIERS’ ASSOCIATION

MEETING OF EXECUTIVE The meeting of the Executive Committee of the Dunedin Returned Soldiers’ Association last evening was attended by the president, Mr W. K. Cameron, and Messrs D. S. Chisholm, J. B. Stewart, A. McHutchon, J. M, White, and G. H. Ferens. Two nominations for membership, one transfer inwards, and one transfer outward were approved. It was reported that two members had been lost by death, and a motion of sympathy with the relatives was carried in silence. The reports of the Finance, Relief and Club Management Committees were adopted. A photograph of the First Expeditionary Force camp at Zeitoun, Egypt, was received from Mr S W. Knight, and it was decided to write expressing the thanks of the association for the gift.
