HOME-AND-HOME PROVINCIAL MATCHES WELLINGTON SUGGESTION (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON. Oct. 8. The Management Committee of the Wellington Cricket Association has decided to approach the Auckland and Canterbury Associations with a view to playing home-and-home matches this summer because of the likelihood of the postponement of Plunket Shield games. The suggestion is made that profits be shared on a 50-50 basis. It is suggested, too. that, where possible, visiting players should be billeted.
