PATRIOTIC ADDRESS

With a view to stimulating the patriotic interest of the community and quickening a realisation of the seriousness of the position facing the Empire, the Otago Provincial Patriotic Council has made arrangements with Mr F. Milner, the rector of Waitaki Boys’ High School, to give a public address in the Dunedin Town Hall next Tuesday. The subject will be “ The Challenge of Nazidom to Our Empire.” Mr Milner is known as a forceful and inspiring speaker, who is in every way fitted to deal with the subject in a capable manner. Prior to the address appropriate selections will be played by the Kaikorai Band, and during the evening solos will be contributed by Miss Bertha Rawlinson and Mr Arthur Macdonald.
