DUNEDIN COMMUNITY SING

The community sing at the Strand Theatre on Friday will be a special one for the Navy Queen (Miss Jessie McLehnan). and the Air Force Queen (Miss Mary Pratt) will be present. Country supporters of the Air Force Queen and Navy Queen may send their donations to Mr J. F. Himburg, at Begg's. As the Daventrv news time has been altered, the sing will be broadcast from 4YA from noon until 1 o'clock. Navy and Air Force songs will be sung. An admirer from Houipapa has forwarded a baby's layette (eight pieces), also another has made the gift of a solid leather golf bag. and these will be sold. Mr H. P. Desmoulins will be leader, and Mr Alf. Pettitt the pianist.
