FIRST GRADE FINAL Y.W.C.A. I v. TRAINING COLLEGE YWCA I met Training College at Logan' Park No. 1 on Saturday afternoon the game ending in a draw, 16 all. The same was very closely contested, and Scores mounted very evenly, neither team gaining any distinct advantage throughout fialf time was called with the score reading: Training College 8. Y.W.C.A. I 7- YWCA drew level immediately after the start of the second spell, and for the next 10 minutes scores were added alternately. For the remaining 10 minutes first one side and then the other would hold °h advantage, but, despite scores remained fairly even, with College getting the last goal to bring the points; tol all. The game was very speedy, both sides showing good combination and enterprising playSecond Grade In the final game of the first section of the Second Grade Albany defeated High School Ex-girls by 22 goals to 11. Albany obtained a lead in the first half, which'it increased as the game advanced. Third Grade Final Cadbury Fry Hudson's defeated Arthur Barnett's I in the final game of the Thiid Grade by 20 goals to 18. The game was very closelv contested, Cadbury Fry Hudlon's obtaining its lead In the final few minutes of play. Y.W.C.A. Interhouse v. Timaru Y.W.C.A. Y.W.C.A. interhouse representative team olaved a return game against Timaru YW.C.A. at Logan Park. The game was close, with the Interhouse team show ng a slight superiority in form which ultimately gave it the victory. Timaru led by 10 goals to 7 at half time, but the game finally ended with the score standing at 21 —17 in Interhouse's favour. Albany v. CUnton The Albany II First Grade team met Clinton at Logan Park. The game was won by Albany by a fairly strong majority, but nevertheless proved an enjoyable encounter. Half-time score was: Albany 9, Clinton 2, and the final 20—6 in favour of Albanv.
