RIFLE SHOOTING
KIWI DEFENCE CLUB The Kiwi Defence Rifle Club fired the second stage of the President's Match on the Pelichet Bay range on Saturday afternoon. The ranges were 500 and 600 yards, and seven counting shots with one optiona sighter were fired at each distance. Extreme variations of light caused bj passing clouds and a strong southerly wlm made shooting conditions interesting, an* as a consequence no possibles were' recorded. With two shoots gone, Rifle men A. Baker arid S. Smith have eacl two limits in hand, while single limit* are held by Riflemen E. Adams, R. K Johnson, G. Adams, W. Pullar, W. Crimp and J. McKinlay Next Saturday's shoo< will conclude the match, the ranges beini 300 and 600 yards. The results of Saturday's shoot were
