The loss of a railway plan in a cab necessitating a costly expedition to Africa has beifti revealed by the death of Sir Francis Fox, who successfully undertook the stupendous task of bridging the Victoria Falls. Arriving ip Loudon after the survey ho drove to a restaurant, telling the eabdriver to wait. He was overtired and dozed. He realised that he had left his plans in the cab, and dashed outside, but found it gone. It was never traced, and the resurvey cost £4OOO. Sydney Sun Cable.
