A UNITED ASSOCIATION.

<P«E Ukitid PBESS Assooiatioh.) HAWERA, July 31. At a meeting of the South Taranaki Returned Soldiers' Association yesterday a resolution was carried approving of the advisabloness of having one association throughout the dominion, with one central governing body at Wellington. It was also decidcd to forward a telegram to the Minister of Defence protesting against the sale of service ribbons to shops, and asking that those be issued through Base Records.

Over 500 returned soldiers were entertained by the Egmont Racing Club.
